What flows back between two consultations: four kinds of signal, three severities, and what a signal deliberately is not.
Between two sessions you normally go blind: you have no view of what was applied, what was misunderstood, and where someone quietly gave up. Progress signals are the answer to that — small observations that flow back up, so the next consultation starts from evidence rather than recall.
Signals are generated from what the person's side of REMI records, and recording is the part still being built: there is no meal logging yet, and no way for someone to mark a day as done. Read the signals as a partial picture during the pilot, and keep asking the questions you already ask.
These two buttons record nothing — there is no feedback pipeline behind them yet, and a control that quietly discards an answer is worse than none. Until there is one, tell us in a sentence and it reaches a person.
